Internal Sales Executive

Job Description

Location: UK based

Softbox is currently looking for a dynamic individual to join the established Business Development team.  The Internal Sales Executive will provide the highest level of customer service, supporting both internal and external clients across a variety of different industry verticals including: healthcare, perishable, chemical and logistics. The right candidate will have extensive knowledge of helping solve businesses’ pain points, providing a total solution for large Global clients.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities within your customer account portfolio
  • Engage key internal stakeholders to drive growth across Key Account portfolio
  • Provide on-going effective account management support
  • Maintain activity reports through CRM system
  • Achieve set monthly revenue targets
  • Develop and manage your sales pipeline
  • Accurate forecasting of growth and sales strategies
  • Arrange / conduct product demonstrations and training as required
  • Utilise networking activities to create sales opportunities
  • Work with marketing to help generate campaigns to target prospective customers
  • Schedule informational calls and meetings with current and prospective customers
  • Become a product expert/advisor
  • Coordinate meetings, product demonstrations and customer visits
  • Liaise with and assist the wider global sales team

Person Specification

  • Business to business sales experience (2 years +)
  • Proven track record of successful account and territory management
  • Sales process background including account management, territory planning, pipeline development and a strong closing ability.
  • Working knowledge of Packaging, pharmaceuticals, life science industries
  • Experience of working in the Global market
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of target achievement
  • Managing your workload in a structured and organised manner
  • Able to work autonomously, take initiative, deliver solutions and meet deadlines
  • Strong IT skills
  • Drive, energy, and willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
  • Has a can-do attitude, inspires others through own positive attitude, energy and passion.
  • Positive communicator (both written and oral).
  • Shares and works to best practice principles.
  • Identifies problems and obstacles before they occur and acts to minimise or avoid the affect.
  • Strives to fulfil commitments to others
  • Tackles problem solving in a logical way to arrive at the root cause.
  • Planning and organizing and time management skills
